Are you kidding me? Did the guy on CNN seriously just imply that this new tape from (potentially) bin Laden justifies the current spying scandal? Fuck me, if they seriously get away with such an egregious violation of the constitution because of this...well, I guess I won't be surprised.

I just got off some conservative message board, where I was arguing that the fourth amendment protections include a right to privacy. I was actually arguing this. Sad thing is that 10 years ago conservatives were making this same argument in response to Oklahoma City. Sad thing, really.
