Sad

As the rest of the blogosphere has already noted, we lost a tremendously funny and talented man - George Carlin died yesterday. I had the misfortune of that being the first news item I heard while lying in bed this morning attempting to ignore my alarm clock. If I have a chance to scan it I'll post one of my favorite pictures - years ago my Mom, Grandma, and I headed out to a bookstore in Cleveland to have Carlin sign a copy of Braindroppings for my Dad's birthday, and in the process I got this wonderful picture of our three generations standing somewhat reverently near Carlin.
