Reality finally set in a bit and I'm...blissfully happy! That's a sign that I'm doing the right thing, yeah? Locals, please don't take it personally. I'm sure I'll be sad, and in fact, I am sad, it's just that I've been sort of assuming that my lack of sadness is due to denial on my part and I think perhaps in reality it's due to the fact that my legitimate sadness is so outweighed by my joy! I will miss each and every one of you, and I'll miss my life here, but I've been working toward this and now it's here and it's impossible not to grin like an idiot at the prospect of the life I'm about to embark on!
