How did I not know this?? THREE YEARS AGO the CDC reported that Nonoxynol-9 does nothing to prevent HIV or other STDs and in fact has the potentential to increase risk because it can cause skin lesions. Silver lining - it does still decrease your chances of getting pregnant.

Oy. Well, other people who werent getting laid when this data came out took notice. All nonoxydil-9 promises is to kill sperm... all its supposed to do is prevent pregnancy, not prevent disease. Just another reason to use a rubber, I guess (or just be abstinent. Can't go wrong with masturbation, after all.).
